Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking an Entry Level Civil/Enviromental Engineer in our Kansas City, Missouri office to help plan, design, and construct new and rehabilitation projects for local and regional municipalities.

• Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
• Work on engineering planning and design projects.
• Prepare reports.
• Develop plans and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects.
• Conduct system modeling.
• Provide permitting and alternative analysis.
• Prepare of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
• Perform data entry and analysis.
• Provide engineering services during construction.
• Participate in field activities such as pilot testing.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design.
• 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training Certification.
• Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
