Responsibilities

• Coordinates high- to strategic-level pursuits.
• Leads interview preparation, including storyboarding, rehearsal coordination, presenter coaching and coordination with external vendors.
• Tailors deliverables to projects and clients.
• Stays up-to-date with industry developments and tools, and disseminates this information to team members.
• Takes ownership of the story and messaging from pursuit inception to completion.
• Provides red team review of high-level pursuits.
• Leads research and writing of non-technical proposal sections (including cover letters, executive summaries, etc.).
• Assists with writing and editing technical proposal sections.
• Proofreads and edits technical and non-technical documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Performs lay out and editing of proposals in InDesign, as required to support the team.
• Manages production of deliverables associated with proposals and other business development efforts in conformance with company standards.
• Updates/maintains applicable opportunity records in CRM.
• Coaches marketing staff and others in the company on pursuit process and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, related field
    • 8-15 years of similar/related experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables.
    • Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential problems and offer solutions.
    • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
    • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and coach other marketing staff.
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office products.
    • Knowledge of consulting engineering industry, sales, and marketing process.
