Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Professional Civil/Enviromental Engineer to help in a client-facing role to assist in design and construction of municipal water and wastewater projects for our Florida clients.

• Performs civil engineering work for projects related to water and wastewater treatment, storage and conveyance facilities
• Assist in developing civil engineering plans including site layout, yard piping, paving, grading, and stormwater management
• Support the civil engineering team with preparation of specifications, technical memoranda, cost estimates, and reports
• Assists with preparation of permits and coordination with regulatory agencies
• Assists in fulfilling contract obligations and maintaining strong client relationships

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering 
• Strong understanding of civil engineering practices including principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
• 4 -8 years of directly-relevant civil engineering experience 
• Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on small to large projects of a moderately complex nature
• Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
