We are seeking a Mid-Level Water/ Wastewater Engineer to work on and lead exciting water and wastewater treatment facility design projects.

Engineering planning and design efforts associated with water, wastewater and reuse treatment and conveyance infrastructure, including:
- Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering solutions on projects of various sizes
- Perform engineering work in process design and/or rehabilitation of water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Develop plans and specifications
- Prepare cost estimates for various water, wastewater, and reuse projects
- Supervise or coordinate the work of a few staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments
- Perform permitting and alternative analysis
- Prepare technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
- Complete data entry and analysis
- Provide engineering services during construction
- Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
- Participate in in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conferences and/or chapter events
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or other similar engineering field
- Minimum academic requirements including coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
- 6 to 12 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
- Engineer-in-Training Certification
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
