MID-LEVEL WATER/WASTEWATER ENGINEER

We are seeking a Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to add to our team in Denver. Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Devises new approaches to problems encountered.
  • Report writing
  • Preparation of plans, specifications, reports for water/wastewater treatment and pumping facilities, wastewater collection systems, water transmission/distribution projects, and water/wastewater master plans/studies.
  • Coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work for a project of moderate scope or as part of a major project.
  • Function as project manager on smaller projects.
  • Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of a small staff of engineers and technicians.
  • Estimates project resource needs, schedules and assigns work to meet completion date.
  • Ability to travel when requested.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • 6 to 12 years industry experience
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team.
  • Deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Work requires a broad knowledge of precedents in civil and environmental engineering and a good knowledge of related specialties.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
