- Significantly contribute to the strategy, development and oversight of planning tasks for water resource projects involving water supply, wastewater, stormwater, groundwater, and recycled water.
- Technical guidance and mentoring of junior staff on water demand forecasting, flow projections, conservation, and water supply planning projects.
- Independently develop and apply long-range and mid-range demand forecast using tools and models, including assessments of risk and uncertainty.
- Guide work of junior staff related to spatial and temporal data processing.
- Independently evaluate opportunities, develop strategies, and estimate effectiveness of water conservation and efficiency measures.
- Alternatives analysis and decision support.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities.
- Prepare draft sections of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
- Apply technical expertise to support business development initiatives.
- Minimum of 8 years of directly relevant experience in water demand forecasting and modeling, conservation planning, master planning, and water resource support.
- Ability to apply strategic planning principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- GIS experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
