We are seeking an entry level process mechanical wastewater engineer to support Carollo’s vision. As part of our team, you will work on projects related to municipal wastewater treatment plants, which may include treatment plant studies, expansions, and critical projects to help maintain a safe, sustainable and resilient environment for our community.
- Performing engineering work in wastewater treatment facilities
- Wastewater process modeling and statistical data analysis
- Development of alternative analysis for design options
- Work on engineering planning and design projects
- Prepare reports and make client presentations
- Develop plans and specifications
- Prepare cost estimates for various wastewater projects
- Prepare technical memoranda and reports
- Master’s or PhD in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Has the ability to communicate effectively with peers and mentors
- Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical and biological wastewater treatment processes, wastewater treatment plant design, statistics and hydraulics
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- 0 to 4 years of using commercial software to conduct biological modelling and/or process mechanical design related to wastewater treatment
