Omaha, NECarollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking an Entry Level Civil/Enviromental Engineer in our Omaha, Nebraska office to help plan, design, and construct new and rehabilitation projects for local and regional municipalities.

- Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
- Work on engineering planning and design projects.
- Prepare reports.
- Develop plans and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects.
- Conduct system modeling.
- Provide permitting and alternative analysis.
- Prepare technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables.
- Perform data entry and analysis.
- Provide engineering services during construction.
- Participate in field activities such as pilot testing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design.
- 1 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training Certification.
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
