Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking a Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to add to our team in Denver (Broomfield office location). Responsibilities
  • Serves in a project engineer, project lead, or project manager role depending upon experience on water and/or wastewater recovery projects
  • Works collaboratively with engineering team and clients to plan, design, construct, and optimize water and wastewater facilities
  • Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of medium to large sizes of moderately complex nature
  • Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key staff of other organizations and companies
  • Applies technical experience for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments
  • Involved on team that prepares proposals, conducts interviews, and negotiates contracts with clients after selection
  • Develops significant relationships with new and existing clients
  • Active in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers, member of technical committee, officer of local or national organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer
  • 6-12 years professional experience (exclusive of any advanced degree)
  • Experience includes planning, design, construction oversight, and optimization of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities
  • Creative foresight and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
  • Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints
