- Leads hydraulic transient modeling studies nationwide.
- Manages infrastructure master plans and other hydraulics related projects.
- Leads hydraulic studies that support infrastructure design.
- Strives to meet or exceed the expectations of internal and external clients.
- Contributes to business development activities.
- Performs quality management.
- Helps develop a team including mentoring younger engineers.
- Supports the efforts of Carollo’s Infrastructure Master Planning group.
- Performing engineering work in water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
- Hydraulic modeling using Innovyze software programs (Infowater, Infosewer, InfoSWMM) and/or Bentley (WaterCAD, SewerCAD, WaterGEMS
- Prepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables.
- Helps implement technological advances in infrastructure master planning processes.
- Bachelor’s, Masters, or PHD degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering
- Minimum academic requirements include coursework in hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological processes; and principles of water infrastructure design
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- Knowledge of system hydraulics, hydraulic modeling software for pressurized and/or gravity pipeline networks, knowledge and experience working with GIS
- Familiarity with codes and regulations related to drinking water and water pollution control
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a team of engineers
- Demonstrated ability to establish trust and confidence with external and internal clients
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
- 10-15 years of experience in water and sewer system modeling, master planning
- PE license in one or more states or P. Eng. In Canada
