- Help deliver water resources, water supply planning, and reuse projects in Florida
- Work on water resources studies, water supply feasibility studies, integrated water supply plans, one water plans and programs, conservation plans, and water reuse studies
- Calculations and analyses of water supplies and demands, conducting alternatives analyses, and documenting results
- Application of hydraulic, hydrologic, or hydrogeologic modeling systems to support the planning and design of related infrastructure, such as: pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization techniques, rapid infiltration systems, storage and treatment facilities, wellfields, and other natural and manmade systems
- Hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, report writing, and other activities needed to support the planning, design, and integration of water supply and water management facilities
- Understanding and application of water supply planning, demand management, alternatives analysis, and feasibility studies for small to large water supply projects of moderate complexity
- Collaboration with other engineering disciplines, designers, and scientists
- Some travel may be required
- Bachelor of Science in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
- 6-12 years of experience in water resources projects
- Registration as a Professional Engineer
- Experience with the selection and optimization of multi-benefit water supply projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems
- Ability to present to groups and communicate effectively with clients and project team
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
